As the most biodiverse place on Earth it literally buzzes with life.  The people here are gracious and friendly, making it easy to get around, find what you need, and experience the local cuture.

It is now easier than ever to travel to Uvita from San Jose via the new Costanera highway that stretches from Puntarenas to Panama -  the trip by car is a scenic three hour tour down the coast.

The Southern Zone offers so much to do we strongly suggest you plan at least a few extra days to take it in!  Exploring the zone in the time before and after the festival can be every bit as amazing as the event itself, and who knows, you may even end up calling it home... Pura Vida!
